R&G EVENTS – OKTOBERFEST TERMS OF ENTRY, LIABILITY LIMITS & MEDIA POLICY
Welcome to R&G Oktoberfest. By purchasing a ticket (online via Tessera or in-store via Computicket /
Shoprite), holding an event wristband, or entering the R&G Arena premises, you agree to be bound by the
following Terms and Conditions.
1. ADMISSION & AGE RESTRICTION
• STRICTLY 18+ ONLY: R&G Oktoberfest is an adult-only event. Valid government-issued
photo identification (National Registration Card, Passport, or Driver’s License) is required for
venue entry.
• RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED: Organizers and venue security reserve the right to refuse
entry or eject any individual who fails to comply with event rules, presents invalid identification,
or poses a safety risk to others.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Attendance at large-scale outdoor music and cultural events involves inherent risks. Attendees voluntarily
assume all risks, hazards, and dangers incidental to the event. To the maximum extent permitted by
applicable written law (including the Competition and Consumer Protection Act No. 24 of 2010):
PROTECTED PARTIES: This limitation of liability extends to R&G Events Ltd, its parent,
subsidiary, and affiliated companies, event directors, officers, employees, agents, security
personnel, contractors, landholders, and ALL OFFICIAL EVENT SPONSORS, BRAND
PARTNERS, VENDORS, AND CO-PROMOTERS.
• PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE: The Protected Parties accept no responsibility or liability for
any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of personal property, vehicles, or belongings brought onto
the venue premises or parking areas.
• PERSONAL INJURY: The Protected Parties shall not be held liable for any personal injury,
illness, or medical incidents arising during or after the event, save for liability that cannot be
lawfully excluded under Zambian law.

• UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: Organizers shall not be held liable for program alterations,
delays, or cancellations caused by severe weather conditions, utility (power/water) interruptions,
municipal directives, or performance cancellations by third-party artists.
3. PHOTOGRAPHY, MEDIA COVERAGE & PROMOTIONAL USE
Public high-resolution photography, audio, and video recording take place throughout the venue during
R&G Oktoberfest.
• PROMOTIONAL RIGHTS: By entering the venue, you acknowledge and grant R&G Events and
its official partners the right to capture, process, publish, and distribute photographs, video
footage, and audio recordings containing your image, likeness, or voice.
• USAGE CHANNELS: Media captured at the event may be used in official post-event galleries,
social media posts, website recaps, press releases, and future event promotional marketing
campaigns across print, digital, and broadcast media without monetary compensation or royalties.
4. PRIVACY RIGHTS & IMAGE REMOVAL POLICY
Data processing is conducted in accordance with the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021. Personal data
(identifiable photographs and media) is processed fairly and transparently for event coverage and
promotion.
• YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT / REMOVAL REQUESTS: If an identifiable photograph of you is
published on our official digital channels (website or social media) and you wish to have it
removed, you have the right to request its removal.
• HOW TO REQUEST REMOVAL: Send an email to bookings@randggroup.com with a link to or
copy of the specific image, details identifying yourself in the photo, and your request. Legitimate
removal requests will be processed promptly.
5. VENUE RULES & SECURITY
• PROHIBITED ITEMS: Outside alcohol, food, glass containers, weapons, illegal substances,
fireworks, and hazardous objects are strictly prohibited.
• SECURITY SEARCHES: All attendees are subject to security searches at the entry gates. Noncompliance
will result in refusal of entry without a refund.
